Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father was a teacher and her mom was a homemaker. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three oldest brothers. McCormick was a gifted entertainer and singer at a young age. Her passion was to perform shows using puppets to entertain her friends. At the age of six, McCormick old, she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency approached her to ask her if she'd like to go into the show business. Her first major role came during 1964, which was when she appeared in a television commercial featuring Mattels new doll Baby Pattaburp. McCormick also starred in a commercial in the year 1964 for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon she was given the leading character on the play Wind It up and It breaks, a production in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the role of the youngest daughter of the three towheaded girls in The Brady Bunch. The show was a collaboration between Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. The show lasted five years. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick told of how in the fifth season of the television show she almost lost virginity with her brother Barry Williams. The time was when she was 16, and he was 19. The incident could have occurred, she stated, but the time wasn't the right time for us.
