Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born on August 5th, 1956 on the outskirts of Woodland Hills California. She was the home of her mother and was also a mom. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick started dancing and singing from a young age, and frequently performed puppet shows in front of children in her area. When McCormick was six years young, she took home the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency called and asked if she'd be interested in entering the show business. McCormick landed her first major job in 1964 as she acted in a television commercial for Mattels newest doll Baby Pattaburp. The commercial was re-run in 1964, for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was chosen to play the main character in the play Wind It up and It Breaks, a play at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 1200 auditioning children to play the older of three two-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969) which starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published in 2008 McCormick revealed how during the 5th season of the TV show, she was close to losing her virginity with her sister Barry Williams. The actress was only 16 when the incident occurred while he was. The woman said it might be possible, however we didn't have the proper time to do it.
