JenniferJennifer was always hoping to become a multitasking super star. When she was young Jennifer was fond of a variety of kinds of music, but mostly Afro-Caribbean styles like salsa, merengue and Bachata. In addition, she was fond of mainstream music, like hip-hop as well as R&B. She was a huge lover of film and music. West Side Story, a musical performed by Rita Moreno (1961), was her main source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. After turning 18, Jennifer moved out of her parents' home. Lopez was a lawyer during the time, and was also taking night dancing classes.
